Project:

The goal of the demonstration project was to build a 12 000 m2 zero energy building in the Lyon-Confluence area in Lyon (France). After an international design competition, SPL Lyon-Confluence selected a group of real estate developers, Bouygues Immobilier and SLC associated with the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, that have designed a building called Hikari. The building was completed and officially commissioned in September 2015. Monitoring is ongoing.
