THERMOS optimised heating and cooling planning capacity building & training Workshop

6 December in Berlin (DE) 8:30-15:00, VKU Forum, Invalidenstraße 91, 10115 Berlin, Germany .

The workshop organised by THERMOS partners from the German Energy Agency - Dena will introduce different case studies on local thermal network planning developed by THERMOS Training participants with the THERMOS software, and discuss the role and potential of district heating and cooling for local sustainable energy action plans in the German and European context.

The discussions will be rounded up by a guided tour to the district cooling network at Berlin's famous Potsdamer Platz operated by Vattenfall. More information on the cooling grid here.

Together with experts and THERMOS pilot cities present, workshop participants will be able to explore and test the new features of the software and explore their potential for moving the local energy transition forward.

THERMOS Ambassadors, Trainers and cities from across Europe, as well as Aalborg University, ICLEI Europe and host dena will provide further input.
