CIVIC facilitates the participation of all stakeholders in the evaluation of alternative transport and logistics measures that minimise disruptions and nuisance and improve energy efficiency.
Construction is required to create more attractive, sustainable and economically viable cities. This includes the expansion of infrastructure, development of new residential areas and renovation of buildings. However, construction related transport causes negative impacts for people that live, work and/or travel in the vicinity of construction sites. It will increase understanding among stakeholders on improved transport and will generate smart governance strategies to support implementation of the CIVIC approach
